pairing

Your code is eight letters, shown as two groups of four. Send it to your person any way you like, or send the link the app offers; opening it on a phone with onesie installed pairs you. Only one person can be paired with you at a time. To unpair, open Settings and hold the pairing.

location and calendar

Both are optional. Without them you set your activity yourself, and everything else works. To let the phone set it, grant location (always, not approximate) and calendar access in iOS Settings under onesie, then label your places in the app. Approximate location is not precise enough to tell your places apart.

the status is wrong

Set the right one by swiping to its room on your own tab. A status you set yourself is kept for 45 minutes; the phone will not argue with you. If suggestions keep missing, check the radius of the labelled place.

the widget

Add it from the lock screen or home screen widget gallery. It updates when your person's activity changes; open the app once after installing so it has a picture to show.

deleting your account

Settings, then Delete account. Everything is gone after fourteen days; sign back in before then to keep it. The privacy page lists exactly what is deleted.
